hairaton ke silsile soz-e-nihan tak aa gaye-2
Never-ending surprises, you have reached my innermost feelings

ham to dil tak chaahate the, tum to jaan tak aa gaye
I wished you would come into my heart, but you have reached into my very soul

hairaton ke silsile soz-e-nihan tak aa gaye
Never-ending surprises, you have reached my innermost feelings

zulf mein khushbuu na thi ya rang aariz mein na tha-2
The fragrance from my tresses was gone, so was the color from my cheeks

aap kisaki justajuu mein gulasitaan tak aa gaye
Whom were you seeking, that you have come as far as the garden?

khud tumhein chaak-e-garebaa.n ka sha_uur aa jaayega-2
You will get to know what is inside my heart

tum wahaan tak aa to jaao ham jahaan tak aa gaye
Just come along to where I have reached so far

unaki palakon pe sitaare apane ho.nton pe hansii-2
Teardrops on his eyelids, a smile on my lips

qissa-e-gham kahate kahate ham yahaan tak aa gaye
Just telling sad stories, we reached thus far already

I wished you would come into my heart, but you have reached into my very soul

    Ap is k justju main gulstan tk agae,

    Khud tumhen chak-e greban ka shaor ajaye ga,
    Tum wahan tk aato jao hum jahan tk agae,

    Un ki palkon pr sitaray apne honton pr hansi,
    Qisa-e gham kehty kehty hum kaha'n tk agae,

    Rafta rafta rang laya jazba-e khamosh-e ishq,
    Wo taghaful krty krty imtihan tk agae,

    Namradi apni qismt gumrahi apna naseeb,
    Karwan ki khair ho hum karwan tk agae,

    Apni apni justjo ha apna apna shouq ha,
    Tum hansi tk bhi na pohanchy hum fughan tk agae,

    Tum ko bhi shayad hamari justju krni parry,
    Hum tumhari justjo main ab yahan tk agae,

    Aaj QABIL mekady main inqlab aany ko ha,
    Aehl-e dil andesha-e sood-o zayan tk aage.

  3. Translation is very superficial. It lacks the deeper and subtle meaning of this beautiful ghazal .

    The phrase tum to jaan tak aa gaye is actually a play upon words where the author is trying to say that his love is after his life now

  5. Zulf me Khushboo.... author asks a rhetorical question? Why have you come to the garden? Were your hair lacking perfume or your cheeks lacking colour...this could also be innuendo to the situation that the person in question (authors love) has come to meet him.

  6. Khud tumhe chaak-e-gareban.....(when) you will realize your own shortcomings (assumption chakegarebaan means holes in your collar , shau-ur means realization) and then he asks his love to reach where he has. Probably the Shayar wants to point out the lack of commitment his partner shows.

    2. ख़ुद तुम्हें चाक-ए-गरेबाँ का शऊर आ जायेगा।
      तुम वहाँ तक आ तो जाओ हम जहाँ तक आ गये।।

      You would have realised the pain of lover, the madness of lover and the eternal love that he has for you if you could reach where the lover had reached and observe that he has torn apart his Kurta/Shirt (inner meaning is about cutting all the relationships from the 'materialistic world'= Kurta/Shirt)to become indebted to nakedness (inner meaning is about manifestation of his love to be full of simplicity,purity and divinity).

      Here the poet is trying to say that if the lover(poet) is not naked, then his madness cannot be established. Since the ripping of the Kurta's collar( चाक-ए-गरेबाँ) has made him naked and thus assisted his madness, the world including his beloved soulmate herself can realise/witness(शऊर) that how much he has been mad for her.

  9. Namradi apni qismt gumrahi apna naseeb,
    Karwan ki khair ho hum karwan tk agae,....

    Denial of desires is my luck, and wandering is my destiny
    (Atleast) thanks to the Caravan , that I have reached it.(probably thanking because the shayar didn't miss the Caravan, and even though he will continue to wander atleast he wont be alone )

      कारवाँ की ख़ैर हो हम कारवाँ तक आ गए


      The poet is saying that he has been very unlucky throughout life because of his all those unfulfilled wishes and he has lost the path to destiny in a process as well.
      But he is very hopeful and trying to say in the second line that he will reach the goal(destiny/luck/Almighty/divinity/spiritualism) while travelling/wandering with "Caravan/Kaarwan"( company or a group of pilgrims on a journey in passing through a path full of obstacles, difficulties and hard challenges)and he thanks Caravan for this and indirectly telling us that misleads are those who don't even leave their homes.

      There is another very inspirational and motivational shayri by Mirza Ghalib shaab.
      "मंजिल मिल ही जायेगी भटकते-भटकते, गुमराह तो वो हैं जो घर से निकले ही नहीं ।"
      The meaning is same but the way of interpretation is different.
